Master Otavio de Almeida Junior

Master Otavio de Almeida Junior is a 8th degree Red Belt and President of Sao Paulo Jiu Jitsu Federation (FPJJ) in Brazil. He is a leader for developing BJJ in Sao Paulo, Brazil, also a delegate of CBJJ/IBJJF . FPJJ hosted many tournaments through the year to improve BJJ for the youth and adults. He is the son of Otavio de Almeida Senior, who is an essential figure  for  Jiu-Jitsu in the state of Sao Paulo, who learned BJJ directly from George Gracie.

 

Master Roberto Moreira Lage

Master Roberto Lage is the vice president of Sao Paulo Jiu Jitsu Federation and the 7th degree Red-Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is the founder and owner of Roberto Lage Jiu Jitsu Acadeny which is the biggest BJJ academy in the state of Sao Paulo. He had produced over 500 black belts back in the 1980s-1990s . He was a students of Otavio de Almeida Senior. He  has always been in the center of the BJJ arena, alongside Otavio de Almeida, to expand the sport of BJJ.

 

Master Asu Harvard    -   BJJ Lineage

Master Asu Harvard has been a pioneer of Jiu jitsu in the Midwest. He was one of the only few Black Belts in early 1990′s. He earned his BJJ Black Belt in 1993 under Master Roberto Lage under Sao Paulo Jiu JItsu Federation (FPJJ). He opened his first academy in Chicago, IL in 1997 representing  the FPJJ federation. He is known as scholar of Jiu JItsu and has been helping competitors from all of the world. His mission is to further the tradition by his masters and grandmasters — the dedication of loyalty and pride in the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Champion Jiu Jitsu has been offering the most premier Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructions in the midwest since 1997 and produced 8 World Jiu Jitsu Championship medalists, 5 Pan-American Jiu Jitsu Championship medalists, 3 ADDC Combat North American Championship medalists,  Numerous number of NAGA championship medalists , and etc… Globally, Champion JiuJitsu has been considered as a well recognized successful school. In proof, our athletes are the only non-Brazilian competitors, who have competed every year, and placed in the top three in the Brown and Black Belt division at the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Championships in this area.

Champion Jiu Jitsu is growing, we now offer, Muay Thai Kick Boxing, MMA and Judo program. That’s bring us total 10 black belts under one roof.
